A fast-growing Fintech are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to help Pre-Sales and sales activities for their API-powered digital platform. Candidates should be a combination of technical and business knowledge, and personality in a client facing position with huge long-term potential for development and career progression. The role works very closely with sales/business development together.
What you will do
- Work closely with sales / business development and management team to gain an understanding of customer requirements and their digital needs and propose relevant solution for specific business use cases
- Deliver workshops to prospective customers and existing clients on the range of business use cases with a value approach
- Deliver product demonstrations and POCs, face to face and remotely
- Completing RFIs/RFPs to excellent standards
- Support and oversight during installation and implementation of solution at client side
- Helping to set up and maintain value proposition documents and cheat sheets and other sales documentations
- Work closely with sales and management by participating in road shows, conferences and industry held seminars
- Provide subject matter expertise
What you bring
- Knowledge of Java, DB etc.
- Knowledge of payment concepts and global payments landscape
- Knowledge of local regulatory landscape in ASEAN and APAC (especially in payments) an advantage
- Previous experience in payments industry / digital payments an advantage
- Previous experience in pre-sales in a similar role of at least 5 years
- Fluency in English is a must; a second local language of APAC region will be an advantage (Mandarin, Cantonese etc.)
- Ability to adapt to frequent internal and external changes
- Good skills with PowerPoint
Travel in the APAC region as and when required.
