A Key senior opportunity has been created within a good client of EC1 Partners, they are a leading financial solution provider with a global presence but their HK office being their main focus for their buy-side offering. This role is a critical hire where you will manage a number of key buy-side relationships, the focus is strategic in nature dealing with C-level relationships with an element on sales creation/protection.
This is a key senior appointment facing off to key buyside clients consisting of hedge fund and asset management clientele. Our client offers a front - back solution that has a solid reputation and client base in hand. They are award winning and have an excellent proposition. Their Asia business is growing and despite new sales, the continued effort to provide excellent client service to their existing accounts remains critical. The main focus point for this role is to provide a high level of customer service, client interaction and strong relationship contact. The element of revenue creation and sales exists but this role is not about squeezing as much revenue from clients, more a strategic relationship building angle. You will have a strong track record of consultative sales or account management/relationship management skills relating well to the Asset management or buyside market place. Ideal experience will come from working for a complex solution provider where you have been responsible for closing sales or deals worth >$1Million plus that have been buyside focussed. Possibly you have worked for a securities services firm, asset management business or buyside driven outfit allowing you a high level of expertise and understanding of the workflow within asset managers or hedge funds.
You should be able to demonstrate a clear knowledge of sales approach and have proven experience in client development. A network to a C-level within the APAC buyside market is highly advantageous.
