An amazing opportunity to lead the APAC business, P&L, all initiatives and take ownership of the sales strategy and revenues for the APAC region. You will head the region based out of Hong Kong. You will have highly relevant experience in running and owning a business, driving, closing revenues as well as being able to effectively lead a team, strategy and own the regional business. Strong experience in the fixed income markets is paramount.
The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum experience of 15 years, ideally gained within the markets, this could have been in running a sales or trading business, or general operations within a Credit or Rates market. You will need to have broad experience of running and growing a strong successful team. Strong interpersonal skills are required with the ability to operate at a C-level, speak at industry events and be the face of the business in the region. Experience in FICC within a bank or major financial institution is preferred, relevant platform experience will be considered.
There is a strong emphasis on someone to be able drive sales and adoption in the region although this makes up a small part of the general management and growth aspect. There is a strong mindset for this hire to have strong relationships within the Greater China fixed income market. You will act as the face of this region whilst driving an entire business and sales strategy/revenues across the region. You will have ownership of operations, compliance, regulatory responsibility, sales both new and existing, potential Joint Ventures and the P&L.
An in depth understanding and experience in fixed income, across credit or rates is paramount. You will be very well versed in this market with deep domain expertise in FICC. Any exposure or experience within an electronic trading capacity would be interesting but is not a prerequisite. Our client has ambitious plans for the region so someone must share a similar mindset for market and revenue growth.
