Our client is a highly-respected, growing Fintech who are providing software solutions to the buyside community, across research investment management, trading, and surveillance products.  They are looking to expand their Professional Services team and bring on a consultant to lead and run implementation projects for their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Leading client implementation projects and managing the overall client experience from a service delivery perspective
  • Ensuring products are integrated and configured to suit client requirements adhering to best practice
  • Responsible for project initiation and scoping. This will also include any additional analysis to cover client specific requirements
  • Training of client end-users and project teams
  • Status reporting and tracking of projects. This includes identification and management of project risks and dependencies
  • Working closely with clients to understand and capture requirements and providing workable solutions. Also working with the product team to ensure timely delivery of client-driven enhancements to specification
  • Managing ongoing client relationships and engagements once a client has moved to production
  • Production of standardized project artefacts and adherence to standard project methodologies
  • Working closely with the Support team both in terms of client handover and ongoing issue management

Experience, skills & qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a project role preferably with direct or indirect exposure to the buy-side from a front-office and/or regulatory perspective
  • Strong client facing skills with an ability to communicate to both project stakeholders and end- users alike
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
  • A problem solver who is prepared to use their initiative and present solutions
  • The ability to anticipate issues and remediate
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with the flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks in an organised way, and the ability to prioritise and work effectively;
