European Head of FX Real Money and hedge fund sales at a major European Bank approached EC1 partners on the back of previous work we had done there, to help build out their FX Real Money sales team in London. It required us sourcing someone with a strong transferable real money book of business. They had to come from an established FX real money sales desk and required someone to be in place within a short period of time. EC1 successfully sourced this hire and completed this remit in under 3 weeks.
Head of European Fixed Income E-Trading Sales, Tier 1 IB
Approached by tier 1 Investment Bank to source a European Head of FI E-Trading Sales to grow the franchise in Europe. They required someone with a strong rates and credit e-commerce background coupled with 10+ years relevant sales experience. Also required European languages and a producing management background. EC1 were able to provide an interesting shortlist and successfully completed this search.
Head of Futures Electronic Trading Sales – London
EC1 Partners took on a relatively longstanding remit with one of our Tier 1 IB clients. We went to market to source an established Senior Futures E-Trading leader to join the team in London. The role was to lead Sales for their Futures E-Trading platform. It required an established figure within this space, strong contacts and previous related banking experience. We presented a steady shortlist and successfully filled this role as well as further growing the futures e-sales team
UK Buyside Sales Team
Working with a leading player in the performance measurement space targeting major buyside clients, we were approached to put in place a team of 2 sales. They required profiles who were established in the performance space with strong buyside contacts to report to the MD in London. After a heavy headhunting campaign, EC1 presented a strong shortlist, took the process to closure and successfully completed on this remit.
European Head of EFX Sales
We were retained to source a European Head of Trading and Electronic Matching sales based out of London. Working with senior management in New York, we were able to present an impressive shortlist of established UK EFX Sales heads and managers. We successfully completed this placement recently.
UK/European DMA Sales team
Having placed a new Head of Sales for a leading Agency Broker, we then put in place a team of 3 who joined to take sales coverage for UK/European clients. We presented a strong mix of DMA Sales profiles with coverage across different clients, all 3 started recently and were successfully tracked, headhunted and placed by EC1 partners.
Global Head of EFX Sales
We worked exclusively to source a global Head of EFX Sales for a top EMS prodiver. Based out of NY, the remit was to hire a highly experience EFX Sales veteran to lead the global effort for their FX platform and business globally. We were able to present a thorough short list of established EFX sales leaders. We were able to successfully complete on this within the given time frame of 5 weeks.
Global Head of Fixed Income
Top tier EMS provider covering both the buy/sellside markets has been looking to further develop its multi asset class offering. We sourced a new Global Head of Fixed Income based out of NY to help drive the business forward globally. This remit did not actually exist, it was created on the back of our sound understanding of our clients business and knowledge of the market. By presenting a case study and highly experienced profile/opportunity from the Fixed Income e-Trading world to the business, two success stories in their own right have come together. Global Head of FX Sales
Leading electronic trading provider looked to further establish its eFX offering and business. To help them further establish themselves, their offering, team and sales – we were instructed to source someone well connected and versed in the eFX space. Using our experience and deep contacts in this space, we were easily able to identify someone suitable for this role. Against a tight deadline, we submitted a strong shortlist and were able to complete this hire in a relatively quick time frame having identified a leading name in the eFX space who joined the team as Global Head of FX Sales a short time ago.
Head of UK Sales – Leading Agency Broker
We recently took on a search to find an established and highly respected figure from within the Electronic Trading markets to help drive the business and sales effort of this leading Global Agency Broker based out of London. We took one message to market and sourced a highly respected figure within the Equity Electronic Trading markets to help drive their European expansion forward. Reporting to the CEO and working within a pre-agreed timeframe, EC1 successfully completed on this assignment with the appointment hitting a vast number of leading financial newsboards and publications.
